TREAT - Progress Notes

Group and Bulk Notes

Overview

A Group Note is used when the documentation needs to be personalized for each client who participated in the activity or group session. When you select Save, TREAT creates an incomplete copy of the note for each client. The worker must then review each client's note, make any client-specific updates, and sign each note individually.

A Bulk Note is used when the same documentation applies to multiple clients. When you select Sign, TREAT creates a completed and signed copy of the note on each client's chart. No further action is required unless a specific client's note needs to be different, in which case that individual note can be edited afterward.

BENEFITS a Group or Bulk Note

Group Notes: Group sessions are beneficial when the note details may vary between participants, such as different levels of participation, outcomes, or follow-up plans.

Bulk Notes: time saving for documentation situations where the same information applies to everyone, such as attendance at an event, distribution of information, or a standardized intervention.
